BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Basketball diaries: Players need insurance

NBA

Several high-profile NBA players are looking to score league-financed insurance policies before their season is rebooted, according to Sports Illustrated.

In a recent video call among some 80 players, insurance to protect against career-threatening injuries among some players is a uniform need, the magazine reported Sunday.

Bam Adebayo (Miami Heat), De’Aaron Fox (Sacramento Kings), Kyle Kuzma (Los Angeles Lakers), Donovan Mitchell (Utah Jazz) and Jayson Tatum (Boston Celtics) are among the crew shopping for insurance. Because all of the players are from the 2017 draft class, the insurance inquiries make sense as all of them are up for rookie extension contracts in October, the magazine pointed out.

The league is expected to resume play July 30 after its March 11 halt due to the coronavirus pandemic, which is another concern among players, according to the magazine.
