Health software firm Cority Software Inc. has launched an occupational medicine platform to help hospitals keep track of revenues for services provided to injured workers, the company announced in a statement Tuesday.
Cority’s Toronto-based subsidiary, Cority Axion Health, expanded its software as a service platform to provide hospitals providing fee-for-service occupational health services for employers with workers compensation encounter workflows, coding guidance for invoicing employers, billing and accounts receivable management and a portal for managing employer communications.
The new platform is intended to help occupational health providers to reduce operational costs and improve data accuracy and efficiency, according to the statement.
Ventiv Technology Inc., a risk management information systems provider, said on Wednesday it has partnered with the actuarial practice of Marsh & McLennan Cos. Inc. unit Oliver Wyman to launch a claims optimization software product for risk and claim managers.
