Liberty Mutual promotes Tracy Ryan

Liberty Mutual Insurance Co. named Tracy Ryan president of global risk solutions, North America, on Thursday.
In the newly created position, Ms. Ryan will oversee the insurer’s North American commercial property, casualty and specialty operations, including underwriting, distribution and claims, a Liberty Mutual statement said.
Boston-based Ms. Ryan joined Liberty Mutual in 1994 and most recently was executive vice president and chief claims officer for the global risk solutions division, which includes Liberty Mutual’s large commercial insurance business.
Ms. Ryan was named one of the Business Insurance Women to Watch in 2014.
