Bangladesh to make insurance compulsory for businesses

AHM Mustafa Kamal, finance minister of Bangladesh, said that the government plans to make insurance compulsory in phases for flats, residential buildings, corporate offices, commercial buildings and structures, crops and livestock, Asia Insurance Review reports citing Dhaka Tribune. Mr. Kamal said that the government will issue directives to introduce different mandatory insurance covers.
