BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Number of takaful operators exceeds 300 worldwide: Report

A report by Malaysia-based Islamic Financial Services Board found that the number of takaful and retakaful operators is about 306 in at least 45 countries globally, Middle East insurance Review reported. The report found that South-East Asia accounted for 30% of total takaful operators, while the Gulf Cooperation Council accounted for 27%.
