Generali's net profit rises 35%

Italy-based insurer Assicurazioni Generali S.p.A.'s net profit grew nearly 35% year over year to €1.8 billion ($2 billion) in the first half of this year, Euronews reported citing sources. The profit includes €480 million worth of capital gains from disposals.
