Experts said that insurers in Myanmar are likely to face fierce competition after the country liberalized the insurance sector recently, while demand may not be as high as anticipated due to cultural norms, Frontier Myanmar reported. The experts said that foreign insurers will need to develop new products that are relevant to the local market.
