Insurers provide public liability cover for World Cup viewing centers

Nigerian insurers are providing public liability cover for six viewing centers opened in Lagos State to watch the Federation Internationale de Football Association World Cup, ThisDay reported citing News Agency of Nigeria. Sunny Adela, chief executive of Alpha Choice Insurance Brokers Ltd., said that the insurance would cover the viewers against bodily injuries and death resulting from stampedes and other mishaps. Nigeria-based Wapic Insurance P.L.C. is providing insurance cover for the security of the country's football team at the FIFA World Cup.
