Zurich North America has named Vince Santivasi as the new head of direct markets, the insurer said Monday.
Mr. Santivasi replaces David Putz, who became head of alternative markets for Zurich at the beginning of the year, Zurich said in a statement.
The leadership changes come as Kathleen Savio, former head of alternative markets, became the new CEO officer of Zurich North America on Jan. 1, according to the statement.
Mr. Santivasi was previously the head of sales for direct markets and programs, which serves auto dealerships, a spokeswoman for the insurer said in an email.
A new head of programs will be announced at a later date, the statement said.
“Vince’s vast knowledge of the Direct Markets’ organization and the customers we serve will ensure that our leadership transition is smooth and effective,” Mr. Putz said in the statement.
Mike Foley will retire as CEO of Zurich North America at the end of the year and will be succeeded by Kathleen Savio, president of its alternative markets unit, Zurich Insurance Group Ltd. said in a statement Wednesday.
