Beecher Carlson Insurance Services L.L.C. said Wednesday that it has named Megan Miller to be its New York-based managing director.
In this new created role, Ms. Miller is responsible for developing and managing large risk management accounts, Beecher Carlson said in a statement.
Previously, Ms. Miller was head of sales effectiveness and senior vice president at Swiss Reinsurance Co, a Beecher Carlson spokeswoman said.
“We are delighted to welcome Megan. She'll be instrumental in pursuing opportunities as Beecher Carlson continues its rapid growth in the Northeast,” Executive Managing Director John Kerns said in the statement. “Megan's strong technical expertise will be a tremendous asset to our current and potential customers.”
UnitedHealth Group Inc. CEO Stephen Hemsley earned $14.5 million in 2015, according to a filing Friday, but he wasn't the top-earning health insurance executive.
