BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Ships at risk from hackers: Security researcher

Ruben Santamarta, a researcher at U.S.-based security firm IOActive Inc., has said that ships using a particular model of Voyage Data Recorder are at risk from hackers, Hacked reported.

Mr. Santamarta said that hackers could remotely access the VR-3000 VDR made by Japan's Furuno Electric Co. Ltd. as it contains multiple vulnerabilities. Hackers are likely to hack into this VDR and track a ship's route, said Mr. Santamarta. Hackers can "access, modify, or erase data stored on the VDR, including voice communications, radar images, and navigation data," he said
