Allied World Assurance Co. Holdings A.G. said Tuesday that Allied World Global Markets has launched a professional lines management liability package.
The management liability package is designed for small to medium sized U.K.-based enterprises, Allied World Global Markets said in a statement.
The package includes directors & officers’ liability, corporate legal liability, and employment practices liability. This also allows the option of blending coverages with separate limits for each. “Our policy is responsive, providing clients with the choice of purchasing an entire package or combining only the coverages that they need,” Julian James, president of Allied World Global Markets said in the statement.
“Given their smaller size, SMEs (small and medium enterprises) can be more vulnerable to management liabilities than larger players. Therefore, it is imperative that they’re diligent about understanding potential risks and putting the proper protections in place. We created this policy to seamlessly mitigate those risks, so that organizations can focus on running their business,” Dawn Zacharow, vice president, professional lines at Allied World Global Markets said in the statement.
Laitram Machinery Inc., the world's largest manufacturer of shrimp-peeling machines, sits along the Mississippi River under the Huey P. Long Bridge, just outside of New Orleans — a suitable location for a company associated with a food product that's central to southern Louisiana's celebrated Creole and Cajun cuisine.
