BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

MEMPHIS, Tenn.—Lance Ewing, who recently left his position as vp of risk management at Harrah’s Entertainment Inc., is now vp of national accounts for insurer Chartis Inc.

Mr. Ewing, a former president of the Risk & Insurance Management Society Inc. and the 2007 Business Insurance Risk Manager of the Year, started his new role at Chartis this week.

Mr. Ewing, who is based in Memphis, said that he will help large North American accounts across an array of industries learn about Chartis’ products while helping the insurer understand risk managers’ needs.

“I’m looking forward to the opportunity to work with my former colleagues, who will always be my colleagues in risk management,” Mr. Ewing said.
