To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

HAMILTON, BermudaRichard Houghton has been named chief financial officer of Bermuda insurer and reinsurer Aspen Insurance Holdings Ltd., Aspen said Monday.

The appointment will be effective April 30.

Mr. Houghton, who most recently served as chief operating officer of the Royal Bank of Scotland Group P.L.C.'s insurance division, will succeed Julian Cusack, who in November 2006 was promoted from CFO of the holding company to chairman and chief executive officer of the Aspen Insurance Ltd. unit.

Mr. Houghton will report to Aspen CEO Chris O'Kane.

In a statement, Mr. O'Kane said: "Aspen, which is celebrating its fifth anniversary this summer, is moving into the next phase of its development...the experience Richard brings will complement and broaden our capabilities for the challenges and opportunities ahead."
