BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

P/C Insurers Lloyd's of London More + Less -

LONDON David Gittings has been appointed as chief executive of the Lloyd's Market Association, the body that represents businesses underwriting at Lloyd's of London.

Mr. Gittings, previously group head of risk at Wellington Underwriting P.L.C., will take up the post on January 1, 2007.

He succeeds Simon Sperryn.

Mr. Gittings formerly was director of regulation at Lloyd's.
