ACE promotes executives in Americas

NEW YORK—ACE Ltd. has made several senior management appointments internationally.

Audrey M. Samers has been named New York-based ACE's global ethics and compliance officer, effective Jan. 1, 2007. Ms. Samers, who joined ACE in May after serving as deputy superintendent and general counsel of the New York State Insurance Department, succeeds Kevin Rampe, who will become general counsel of ACE's North American operations.

Separately, Marcos Gunn has been named senior vp and head of accident and health for ACE Asia Pacific. Mr. Gunn is ACE's regional vp for accident and health in Latin America. He succeeds Jorge Luis Cazar, who was named president and CEO of ACE Latin America. Both men will take their new posts in the first quarter of 2007.

Succeeding Mr. Gunn as regional vp of accident and health in Latin America is Ignacio Borja, the president and CEO of ACE Colombia and Ecuador. Miguel Sierra, chief financial officer for Latin America, will succeed Mr. Borja at ACE's operations in Colombia and Ecuador.
