BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

NOVATO, Calif.--Joseph J. Beneducci has been named chief executive officer of Fireman's Fund Insurance Co.

Mr. Beneducci, former president and chief operating officer of the Novato, Calif.-based insurer, succeeds Charles Kavitsky, who has been named president of Allianz America with responsibility for Fireman's Fund and Allianz Life Insurance Co. of North America, the company said Wednesday.

The appointments are effective Jan. 1, 2007.
