BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

HAMILTON, Bermuda--XL Capital Ltd.'s chief financial officer, Jerry de St. Paer, will retire from the company in 2007, XL reported Monday in a regulatory filing.

A departure date has not been set for Mr. de St. Paer, who has served as CFO for Hamilton, Bermuda-based XL since 2001.

XL in a Securities and Exchange Commission filing noted that it plans to initiate a search for a successor for Mr. de St. Paer and that he will "assist the company with transition matters."
