SAN MATEO, Calif.Guidewire Software Inc. has entered into an alliance with Philadelphia-based Metropolitan Reporting Bureau to provide Guidewire clients access to the bureau's public safety reports at any point during the life of a claim.
Under the agreement, the information from the Metropolitan Reporting Bureau, which provides public safety reports to the insurance industry, will be integrated with San Mateo, Calif.-based Guidewire's ClaimCenter product, automating much of the report ordering, completion and tracking processes.
According to Guidewire, the alliance will allow insurers using the ClaimCenter product to benefit from enhanced claims adjusting procedures, reduced claims costs and improved customer service.
