NEW YORK--Willis Group Holdings Ltd. announced several promotions Friday in conjunction with the recent appointment of Don Bailey as chief executive of its North American operations.
Tom Ealy, who most recently was Willis' client advocacy leader in North America, has been named chief operating officer of Willis North America; and Joe Gunn, former national partner for the South Central region, has been promoted to executive vp and national partner of North American client development.
Messrs. Ealy and Gunn will be based in New York.
In addition, Eric Joost, Willis' North American middle-market leader based in Chicago, assumed the additional role of leading Willis' client advocacy initiative in North America.
Mr. Bailey was named CEO of Willis North America operations last month following the departure of Mario P. Vitale, who left the brokerage to become CEO of Zurich Financial Services Group's Corporate North American operations.
