LONDONAlexander Forbes International Risk Services has launched a private equity and corporate acquisitions practice, to provide insurance and risk transfer services to companies undergoing mergers and acquisitions.
London-based AFIRS, which is slated to be acquired by Kansas City-based Lockton Cos. Inc. in October, said the new practice would work closely with Lockton's existing private equity and corporate acquisitions practice on completion of the two companies' tie-up.
Lockton will acquire AFIRS from its South African parent Alexander Forbes Ltd.
