NOVATO, Calif.The Fireman's Fund Insurance Co. is partnering with the Alexandria, Va.-based Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America Inc. to offer a nationally endorsed program for insurance agents errors and omissions coverage.
The Fireman's Fund agents E&O product will be an addition to the Big I's National Professional Liability Program for the association's member agents.
The agents E&O policy provides coverage for agents in the event they should face liability exposures in connection with coverages they place or fail to place for clients or exposures emerging from acting in an advisory capacity.
The Fireman's/Big I agents E&O program started with a pilot program in five states in August. The pilot program is expected to last about two months and be followed by a phased rollout of the program to other states during the fourth quarter of this year.
Novato, Calif.-based Fireman's Fund is a member of the Munich, Germany-based Allianz Group.
