BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

NEW ORLEANS--Alex Soto has been inaugurated as the new president of the Alexandria, Va.-based Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America Inc.

Mr. Soto, who was sworn in last weekend during the IIABA leadership conference in New Orleans, is president of Miami-based InSource Inc.

Robert E. Fulwider, principal and president of Ray Wuestenberg Agency Inc. in West Liberty, Iowa, and of Fulwider Agency Inc. in West Branch, Iowa, was sworn in as president-elect at the same meeting.

In addition, C. Brett Nilsson, senior vp of the Salt Lake City-based Buckner Co., assumed the IIABA's vice presidency.
