LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. -- Risk managers came to the land of the Magic Kingdom last week for the Seventh Annual Risk Management Forum, sponsored by Liberty Mutual Insurance Co.
About 270 people attended the forum, held Oct. 11-13 at the Hilton Hotel in Lake Buena Vista, Fla., not far from the gates of Walt Disney World. It was the largest turnout yet for the event, which featured a number of experts who discussed some of the changes and challenges risk managers are facing.
"Networking is one of the main reasons people come," said John F. Ryan, vp-commercial marketing at Boston-based Liberty Mutual. Risk managers mixed with insurers, brokers and others at the three-day event.
