Insurtech SafetyWing raises $35 million to focus on remote worker insurance

SafetyWing, an insurtech startup that’s providing health insurance coverage to remote workers, has secured $35 million in a Series B round of funding, Forbes reports. The startup, founded in Norway and now headquartered in San Francisco, builds a health insurance product for remote workers and so-called digital nomads so companies can provide coverage for a global workforce in multiple locations.
