France-based insurance broker Olea Insurance Solutions’ co-founders said that demand for specialty insurance across sectors such as mining and construction remains high in the Democratic Republic of Congo despite low insurance penetration, Middle East Insurance Review reported. Many of these risks are presently covered through internationally placed insurance programs with very low local retention.
