Berkley names new CEO for reinsurance business in Australia

U.S.-based insurer W. R. Berkley Corp. has appointed Glen Riddell as chief executive of Berkley Re operations in Australia in addition to his role as CEO of Berkley Re Asia, Reinsurance News reported. Mr. Riddell will assume the new role in 2022, succeeding Tony Piper, who will become the chairman of the operating unit.
