Business interruption reserves weigh on ILS funds results

Some insurance-linked securities funds have continued to set small COVID business interruption reserves, which continued to affect results over the past couple of months, Artemis reported. Although some more reserving activities were seen in December 2020, the business interruption hit to ILS funds and vehicles is anticipated to be marginal in the majority of cases.
