BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Brit sees $128 million in pandemic-related claims

U.K.-based insurer and reinsurer Brit Ltd. received COVID-19 pandemic-related claims of nearly $128 million in the first half of the year, Asia Insurance Review reported. Event cancellation and casualty insurance accounted for most of the claims. Brit reported a loss of $227.4 million during the period, compared with a profit of $120.3 million in the previous year.
