BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Axa buys reinsurance to lower volatility within Axa XL

French insurer Axa SA has bought reinsurance in order to reduce volatility in its specialty commercial insurance and reinsurance division Axa XL, Artemis reported. Axa has purchased two new treaties for this year: one a quota share covering its property business and the other an aggregate reinsurance cover designed to reduce volatility from large losses.
