Ransomware attacks account for 18% of cyber insurance claims

Swiss insurer Chubb Ltd. said that ransomware attacks account for 18% of all cyber insurance claims, The Daily Swig reported. During the first nine months, ransomware represented 40% of cyber claims from manufacturing companies and 23% from smaller businesses.
