Scor secures $250 million protection against catastrophe risks

French reinsurer Scor S.E. has completed a $250-million catastrophe bond transaction in the United Kingdom to cover windstorm risks in Europe and earthquakes in Canada and the United States, Asia Insurance Review reported. The cat bond’s risk period runs from June 1, this year to May 31, 2023. securities regime and was part of the reinsurer's policy of diversifying capital protection tools.
