BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Hannover Re's reinsurance result surges

Germany-based reinsurer Hannover Re S.E.'s underwriting result in property-casualty reinsurance grew more than 37% to nearly €205 million ($237 million) in the first half, Artemis.bm reports. Gross written premiums for property-casualty segment grew 19% to €6.5 billion driven by structured reinsurance products in Europe and North America and rate increases in traditional reinsurance.
