Zurich Insurance Group A.G. has appointed Tim Plant as chief executive of general insurance for Australia with effect from Aug. 7, Australasian Paint and Panel reported. Mr. Plant's appointment follows the sudden resignation of Raj Nanra, the previous chief executive, in April. Most recently, Mr. Plant served as group executive of insurance for the New South Wales government's insurance program iCare.
