Cyber insurance fastest-growing segment: Aon

U.K.-based insurance broker Aon P.L.C.'s unit said that cyber insurance premiums grew 23% across the world from 2013 to 2017, the biggest gain across all business segments, Enterprise Innovation reported. Michael Moran, chief executive of U.S.-based Aon Inpoint, said that companies are increasingly looking to protect cyber and intellectual property amid new regulations such as the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation.
