BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

QBE to expand in Asia, North America

Patrick Regan, chief executive of Australia-based QBE Insurance Group Ltd., said that the insurer plans to continue expanding in Asia and North America despite struggling in the regions, CNBC reported. QBE has appointed Jason Brown as chief executive for Asia Pacific operations and a new team to drive growth in the region. Mr. Regan said that that the Asia Pacific team would execute new strategies while building on parts of the business that are strong. QBE will also focus on growing in the "mid-market and specialty businesses" in North America, he added.
