To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Munich Re expects reinsurance rate increases to intensify

Munich Reinsurance Co. said that reinsurance rate increases are expected to "intensify" during renewals this year and perhaps beyond, Artemis.bm reports. The reinsurer expects to post a profit of up to €2.5 billion ($3 billion) this year, driven by its expectations for higher reinsurance pricing. Joachim Wenning, chief executive of Munich Re, said that the reinsurer will pursue opportunities in new markets in uninsured or under-insured risks.
