BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Jardine Lloyd Thompson to purchase Belgian insurance broker

U.K.-based insurance and reinsurance broker Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group P.L.C. has reached an agreement to purchase Belgium-based insurance broker Belgibo N.V. from Belgian gas transportation firm Exmar N.V., Splash 24/7 reported. Belgibo specializes in maritime and industrial risks and claims management. Details of the deal were not disclosed.
