BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Generali's profit falls nearly 10%

Italian insurer Assicurazioni Generali S.p.A.'s net profit declined 9% year over year to €535 million ($600 million) in the first quarter, due to lower non-operating investment result and higher taxes, Xprimm.com reported. Gross written premiums fell 2.5% to more than €19 billion. Property/casualty premiums grew nearly 2% to around €6.5 billion.
