B.P. Marsh & Partners acquires 20% stake in Asia Reinsurance Brokers for $1.7 million

U.K.-based venture capital provider B.P. Marsh & Partners P.L.C. has said that it has acquired a 20% stake in Singapore-based Asia Reinsurance Brokers Pte. Ltd. for $2.4 million Singaporean ($1.7 million), reported Asia Insurance Review.

B.P. Marsh said that it may increase the stake in the broker to 25% for another SGD 500,000. B.P. Marsh's chief investment officer Daniel Topping will be appointed to ARB's board as the former's nominee director.
