BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Insurer Allianz-Tiriac names Virgil Soncutean CEO

Romanian insurer Allianz-Tiriac Asigurari S.A. has appointed Virgil Soncutean as its new CEO, effective Sept.1, 2016, reported Romania-Insider.com.

Mr. Soncutean is currently Allianz-Tiriac's chief sales officer and deputy general manager.

Mr. Soncutean will replace Austrian Remi Vrignaud by taking over the CEO position.

Romania's Financial Supervisory Authority said that Allianz-Tiriac, which is a joint venture between Allianz S.E. and Romanian investor Ion Tiriac, had a 12% market share in 2015.
