BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Randall & Quilter acquires captive run-off Rank Insurance

Bermuda-based nonlife run-off insurance specialist Randall & Quilter Investment Holdings Ltd. said that it has acquired Guernsey-based captive in run-off Rank Insurance Ltd. for an undisclosed amount, reported London South East.

Rank Insurance will be amalgamated into Capstan Insurance Co. Ltd., Randall & Quilter's consolidation vehicle in Guernsey.

"We are delighted to have acquired RIL, and this continues to demonstrate the ability of R&Q to provide exit solutions for end of life captive insurance companies," Randall & Quilter's chairman Ken Randall said.
