Mexico is bracing for hurricane Patricia that has been described by a meteorologist as "an extremely dangerous, potentially catastrophic hurricane," reports The Guardian citing The Associated Press.

The hurricane is likely to bring about flash floods and destructive waves, said the U.S. National Hurricane Center. The hurricane's maximum sustained winds has increased to 160 mph. A hurricane warning is in effect for the Mexican coast from San Blas to Punta San Telmo.
