To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Swiss Re obtains RQFII license, can directly invest in China

Swiss Re Ltd. can now directly invest in the Chinese market as it has received a Renminbi Qualified Foreign Institutional Investor license, reported Greater Zurich Area.

Swiss Re said that it can proceed and apply for a quota to invest in the Chinese domestic securities market, mainly the fixed income market. Obtaining the license is an important step for Swiss Re's high growth market strategy, Swiss Re chief investment officer Guido Furer said. Mr. Furer added that obtaining access to the Chinese financial markets "has become vital for global long-term investors."
