Security firm uncovers major Iranian cyber attack on Israel and other nations

Israel-based cybersecurity firm ClearSky has said that it has discovered a huge Iranian cyber attack against Israel and other nations, reported Arutz Sheva citing Army Radio.

ClearSky officials said that the attacks began in July 2014 and have been launched against 40 targets in Israel and 500 other global targets. Attacks in Israel targeted reserve generals in the Israel Defense Forces and a security consulting firm, among others, said ClearSky. Global targets included a Middle Eastern nation's finance ministry, Qatar's embassy in the United Kingdom, journalists and human rights activists.
