To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

S&P withdraws ratings for Assicurazioni Generali

Standard & Poor's Corp. has withdrawn its ratings for Italy's Assicurazioni Generali S.p.A. following a request by the insurer, Reuters reports.

Generali said it made the request because of "inflexibility of S&P's criteria to take into account the significant improvement of Generali's credit strength achieved over the past two years." The ratings agency had affirmed the ratings for the insurer before withdrawing them, reports Reuters.
