BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Munich Re looks to tap alternative reinsurance and ILS capital for growth

Munich Reinsurance Co. has said that it is looking into alternative reinsurance and insurance-linked securities capital to fuel its growth, reported Artemis.bm.

Munich Re chief financial officer Jorg Schneider said alternative capital is in the mid-term "a very important element for our future growth, for very high capacity, very high risks." "To us it seems more and more that the alternative capital provides more chances than burden," said Mr. Schneider.
