Colombia: Allianz's property-casualty market share increases in first half

Figures from Colombia's financial watchdog Superfinanciera show that the share of Allianz S.E.'s property-casualty premiums through its Colombian business increased to 7.5% in the first half of 2014, up from 6.3% in the first half of 2013, reports BNamericas.

This was a larger increase than its competitors. The company's property/casualty premiums accounted for 349 billion Colombian pesos ($177 million) out of the total premiums of COP 4.66 trillion for the period.
