BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

No Mexican insurer completely ready for solvency II requirements: KPMG

KPMG Cardenas Dosal S.C. partner Ana Maria Ramirez said "not a single" Mexican insurer is "totally ready" for solvency II requirements, which come into effect in April 2015, BNamericas reported.

Ms. Ramirez said around 40 insurers "are partially ready, while 38 firms are at an acceptable level."

She told local radio station Imagen Informativa that seven firms "are at the initial phase [of preparation], while nine insurers are "nearly fully compliant."
