Brian Botwinick has joined Dallas-based electronic insurance exchange and specialty managing general agency MarketScout as senior vice president, MarketScout announced Friday. The move is part of MarketScout's expansion of its nationwide specialty high-net-worth underwriting practice.
Mr. Botwinick formerly served as a director with Quaker Special Risk.
“We continue to focus on expanding our specialty underwriting facilities,” said Richard Kerr, CEO of MarketScout, in a statement.
“Insuring high-net-worth clients is a discipline that requires specific technical expertise,” he said. “Brian brings that expertise which is confirmed by Lloyd's of London and our U.S. binding facilities where he is an approved underwriter. He will greatly expand our capabilities for insuring private clients.”
